1. Reuse old costumes from older kids, or refashion play dress-up clothes.
2. Make your own! Kids have great imaginations. Put them to use! Use fabric, cardboard and numerous other items you have around the house already. And make a box to start collecting items for next year.
3. Swap costumes with another family so it's new to you!
4. Buy used costumes from thrift stores or consignment sales. They are all out right now!
