Rainy Days

Continuing on with water conservation... Josh has a water table he loves to play with outside. Every day I dumped it out so that it would stay clean and bug free. But lately I have been leaving it up for a few days at a time and it's stayed fairly clean. What's even better is I have managed to find a benefit to rainy days...the rain, it's free!

It is one of those yucky, rainy days today so he will have plenty of water to play with later. There are so many ways you can harvest rain water, maybe one day I can really utilize this great gift from nature. If there is anyone in Georgia really interested in harvesting rainwater, check out this workshop!

On days like this, I just want to curl up with a blanket, a good book and something warm to drink!

In honor of this, I'm offering a special on this wonderful mug from Celadon Road. Mine is already on it's way!
