Raising "Green" Kids

Josh, my three-year-old son, is at the point where he LOVES to play with water. I allow a certain amount, but try to limit it and have him re-use as much as possible, but it is proving to be very difficult.

I was very excited on Earth Day that all of the television programs he likes to watch had special episodes showing kids how to live more eco-friendly.

The one we watched was perfect! It was an episode of Super Why about conserving water. Yay for PBS! Now I have a great reference that he understands about why it's important not to waste water.

If you need help teaching your kids how to live more responsibly there are so many great options available! Not only these programs (which I'm sure you can find at least one that your child would enjoy), but Celadon Road offers numerous products to help kids learn everything they need to know about growing up green!

This book is a great example:

Think Green! Children's Book

"It’s Great to Grow Up Green Think Green! is a book written to inspire our youngest generation. Teaching children how to keep our earth clean and safe by thinking and acting green, the book includes an empty page for them to note how they will help the environment. More than that, it’s one of the first illustrated children’s book that is produced with eco-friendly materials!"

In honor of helping kids "Think Green," I will offer $2 off the purchase price of this book TODAY only!!!! Just email me to order.
