Another man's trash....

You know...is another man's treasure.

I have witnessed that this week. As everyone is aware, the housing market here is horrible and so sad for those going through this crisis. In our little neighborhood alone there have been a few forclosures and multiple locations for rent or for sale.

Just this week a family moved out leaving a pile of trash...and when I say pile I mean so much stuff that it ran half-way up their driveway...out front expecting the poor garbage collectors to load it all themselves. Well not to worry, the "pile" is about 1/4 the size that it started out to be. Driving by each day, we have noticed multiple items now absent including a nice looking grill and boxes and laundry baskets full of household items.

So even though that family left in a hurry not worrying about the consequences of their belongings left behind, their fellow neighbors have taken care of the items Reuse all on their own. Good for them.

The question is, would you stop and procure an item from someones trash pile if you thought you could use it or wanted it? Vote at this weeks poll -
