Saying "No" to antibacterial soaps

I write this blog for many reasons, one of them being the outlet for me to continue my education for more responsible and healthier living.

Ever since my son was born, I have had a big thing with buying antibacterial soap. I guess I was wrong. I just found this bit of information and I really believe it.

It's never too late to keep learning, even if you wish some things you would have learned sooner rather than later.

"Forget about Antibacterial Soap! Antibacterial soap is a toxic cocktail of chemicals designed to kill. It also harms people, especially children, who should be trying to build up a healthy immune system. Use natural soap...and let your child's immune system fight off the bacteria itself- that’s what it is meant to do. You are making a big mistake if you try to turn your home germ free."  Check out some of the great soaps that we offer. Here's an example:

Butter Bar Soap
Soothing Shea Butter Butter Bar Soap. With our natural shea butter formula, this is one bar of soap that will soothe even the most sensitive skin gently. Leaving your body moisturized and beautifully radiant, our formula won’t irritate your skin and creates a healthy and natural cleansing experience.
