Dryer Sheets

Growing up, my mom always used dryer sheets. When I started my own household, I continued using them in our laundry. My husband was even fairly adamant about it so that we wouldn't have any static electricity in our clothing.

The only time the thought ever occurred to me not to use them is when I had a baby. I had never heard not to use them or that there was anything wrong with using them, but I thought it might not be the best thing for my baby's skin, so I have never used dryer sheets on his laundry, going on almost four years.

But it wasn't until recently that I stopped using them on our clothes altogether. I now know and realize what harsh chemicals are involved and that we don't need it on our skin either. The great thing is that with my new Celadon Road laundry detergent, my husband doesn't even realize it. The detergent is so effective that while getting our clothes nice and clean, we don't have any static electricity either.
