Since everyone is glued to the news right now, or were last night... I started thinking about how we get our news.
Sometimes it's a hard line to cross for me b/w being eco-friendly and getting the best deal. I am a bargain hunter. Not the best, but I try hard. My husband thrives on having his weekend newspaper. We have a subscription for Friday, Saturday and Sunday b/c we were offered a tremendous deal. It was cheaper than just getting the Sunday paper. Plus I get an extra one for coupons on Sunday.
I know I should move down to Sunday only since that's mainly what we read, but I don't know if that can happen yet. We can get the news for "free" in so many places electronically leaving a much smaller impact on the environment. All I can say in my defense is that at least we have started to recycle them! And maybe I can move to Sundays only when our subscription finally runs out.
